Once you’ve logged in, the app is easy to navigate. If you don’t yet have an account with DIRECTV, you can sign-up on their website. Have your DIRECTV ID and password ready to sign-in. Once the installation process has finished, open the app by tapping the icon on your homepage.
Once you’ve determined that your phone will work with the app, download it from the correct app store. However, to use the app, you’ll need a DIRECTV subscription. The app is free to download in both the Apple Store and Google Play.
To run the DIRECTV App, you’ll need at least an iPhone SE or iPad Air 2 that can run iOS 11 or an Android device that runs 6.0 API 23 software. You can s tream simultaneously on up to five devices and can access any of the channels available through your DIRECTV subscription. With the DIRECTV App, you can access over 45,000 shows and movies live and on-demand on your tablet or phone.
